Did the Medical Board let you down?

The Medical Board of California has been under fire since its inception over 100 years ago, and more severely in the last several decades.

In 1993, the Los Angeles times reported that the Board was caught throwing legitimate complaints in the trash, and now we’re receiving far too many complaints from consumers about their very own complaints against doctors being closed by the Medical Board without investigation.

According to the Board’s own annual reports, they take in around 10,000 consumer complaints every year, yet they only discipline about 4% of them. That means that 96% of consumer’s complaints are closed with no discipline.

There’s something very wrong with that. If you’ve had a bad experience with the Medical Board of California, we want to hear your story. Email us at mystory@4patientsafety.org or use the form below.
